PII masking
SSN, A-number, passport, USCIS receipt, I-94, DOB, phone, email, address, and labelled multilingual names/addresses.
Completeness
Required and optional documents, duplicates, missing pages, expired passport or visa.
Consistency
Different A-numbers or DOBs across the file, missing case number, name not found where expected.
Scans
300 DPI OCR for scanned PDFs. Quality-first processing; no external LLM call, and degraded scans are flagged for human review.
Clean output
Redacted text and PDF, findings CSV, review queue, report JSON/Markdown, deletion certificate.
No legal advice
We do not decide eligibility, visa category, or whether to file. The firm remains responsible.

24-hour deletion
Documents and outputs are deleted after the job. A deletion certificate records the job hash, date and file count — no PII.

Do you give legal advice?
No. PrivSift is document QC: PII masking, completeness and consistency checks. Your firm decides the checklist, strategy and filing.
Do you keep the documents?
No. Originals are deleted when processing ends; outputs are deleted after download or 24 hours. A deletion certificate is included. We do not train on your files.
What about scans and bad copies?
Scans are OCRed at 300 DPI with tiling, not downscaled. Very degraded images may still need human review; the report flags low-text documents.
Are you SOC 2?
Not yet. We provide a DPA, security annex and subprocessor list. For firms that require SOC 2, we can discuss a private deployment instead of pretending we have an audit.
How fast is a case?
Text PDFs are fast. Scans take longer because OCR is quality-first. A 100-document pilot is typically returned within 24 hours.
Can we use it on-prem?
Yes, for firms with stricter requirements. Contact us for a private/on-prem deployment and pricing.
